It is great to be in love. Your child is so lovely that any parent would love him/her most. Love is not limited to loving what we possess and you get chances in life to know it and practice as well.
Enjoyment may transit to higher levels when you are capable of not getting sad for long. When you are able to reduce your sad moments to 'moments' only knowing that this will change. Then you are able to learn that all possession is temporary and it will change. So you enjoy current situation knowing that it will change and continue to enjoy the 'change' as well.
You are great as you also grow with your child. God is within us but most apparent in the child. So your child deserves all the love and attention you can give to him or her.
